About

I believe therapy is oriented at finding out something about you with you. Many of the struggles we experience are caused by responding to new life circumstances using past life experiences. During therapy we move with curiosity, exploring perspectives. We experiment giving ourself permission to feel deeper in an effort to bring focus to the present while honoring our past for brining us to this moment. Through this work, clients can challenge this "stuck” feeling and move toward leading fulfilling lives. View 4 Photos

I received my Masters in Social work from Loyola University Chicago, where I interacted and received training in various therapeutic approaches. Working from an approach oriented in a modern the Psychodynamic perspective, I work with clients as they explore the experience of being and becoming and challenge the burden of "knowing".

As a person in a second career, I understand the fear of stepping into the unknown. I believe that at the heart of therapy, there are simply two individuals talking to one another. my goal is to provide support as you navigate the obstacles of life. I am committed to the idea that no one needs to be fixed because no one is broken.
