About

When even everyday tasks are overwhelming and healing from emotional trauma seems impossible, it can be hard to reach out for help. I would like to be a non-judgmental ally to you in this process. My approach to therapy is collaborative, innovative and adaptive. We will work together as a team to address the problems and issues that are important in helping you move forward, heal and improve your relationship with yourself and others. My goal is to empower you to meet life’s challenges, as well as to address past trauma and issues that can impact your life today.

I work with the aim of increasing personal safety and awareness and to support healthy expression of difficult emotion. I graduated from EVMS with my degree in Art Therapy and Counseling; my interventions are shaped by an adaptive approach to problem solving and can include the expressive arts when appropriate.

I have been ever inspired and humbled by the resiliency of the people with whom I have worked. Asking for help is challenging. Collaborating with a helper can make a profound difference. I would love to talk with you and I offer a free consultation to find out if we are a good fit.
