About

Are you motivated to make a change in your life? Are there issues in your personal life in regards to dealing with stress, anxiety, or depression, and identifying that your current coping skills are not working for you? The goal is to build awareness and knowledge and acquire skills that help you become independent in facing future challenges. I want to help you grow as an individual, and learn how to better understand yourself emotionally, and put action outside of therapy into achieving goals of independent coping with the stressors you are facing.

I have had extensive training on evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, and put the therapeutic relationship at the forefront of my approach. In creating an approach that offers space for vulnerability, my clients are able to self-explore and find out specifically what skills are most beneficial for them.

It is normal to need support during challenging times, and I hope to be someone to offer that. The goal of therapy is to feel empowered through learning about yourself, how to cope through personal challenges, and feel confident that you can cope through future hardships independently with the knowledge you have acquired.
