About

I believe strongly in the power of self-care, self-compassion, and setting boundaries, and that these are often missing elements when one is struggling. I have experience and enjoy working with people with physical disabilities. The first part of my career was as a hospice social worker for 9 years, supporting many individuals and families throughout their experiences with death, dying, and grieving. This has included individuals with terminal illnesses, as well as loved ones struggling with death and loss, and caregivers. I love working with new human services professionals as well.

I bring a nonjudgmental attitude to my practice and will provide deep listening as you share your thoughts and feelings. Relationships of all sorts - personal, professional, romantic - are an essential part of a life lived to the fullest, and they require tending. While I cannot provide the answers for you, I will walk beside you as you discover them.

My personal interests include mindfulness. I am also an artist with an entrepreneurial spirit, creating in mediums of metal and fiber arts. Clinical orientations tend towards strengths-based, solution-focused, narrative, and mindfulness.
