About

I am Emma Blevins, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Art Therapist (Provisional) with 2 years of experience providing art therapy and counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. I am now also offering services to couples for relationship counseling. I completed my Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology at Old Dominion University and my Master of Science (MS) in Art Therapy and Counseling at Eastern Virginia Medical School. View 5 Photos

I utilize a person-centered and strengths-based approach to counseling and draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, and mindfulness approaches on an individualized basis to meet the unique needs of each client. I also offer art therapy services, which provide an additional method of self-expression, self-reflection, and healing.

I seek to build a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship in which my clients are free to explore their thoughts and feelings in an accepting and nonjudgmental environment, and I work collaboratively with clients to help them meet their goals.
