About

Hi there! I work with a diverse population of individuals, couples, and folx in various "non-traditional" relationships who are facing self-esteem problems, gender identity, LGBTQ+ concerns, trauma, grief, body-image issues, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. As a fat, neurodiverse, and queer therapist, I know the importance of speaking with someone who is informed about your unique experiences and to feel connected to your therapist in a relational way, whether gay, big-bodied, or neurodiverse" View 6 Photos

I practice with a trauma-informed, intersectional, and strength-based approach, utilizing psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), somatic therapy, attachment theory, Health at Every Size (HAES), and harm reduction modalities. I regard therapy as a unique experience for each client and do not take a one size fits all approach.

I have worked with several LGBTQ+ organizations, and volunteered with crisis intervention organizations. I completed my Masters in Social Work with a focus on Mental Health in 2020, have a previous MFA and believe that art, writing, music, and and dance are forms of healing therapy and will use them in practice, if appropriate for the client.
