I believe that therapy is a tool of self-examination that helps individuals navigate difficult life experiences and know themselves more deeply. It often takes painful experiences or emotions for someone to seek therapy, and I enjoy helping people find new pathways through which to experience a more fulfilling life. I most often work with people navigating depression, anxiety, perinatal and postpartum depression and/or anxiety, or general life stressors (such as relationship issues or a new job). I draw from a wide range of treatment modalities in order to provide individualized care. The modalities I most often draw from include psychodynamic psychotherapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy. I have specific training from postpartum support international to better navigate the specific needs of parents. I offer a free initial consultation by phone during which we can discuss your needs and assess if it fits my practice. If not, I try and always provide referrals to other clinicians that might better meet your clinical needs. Please do not hesitate to email me with any questions.
