Hi there and welcome to my profile! My name is Emily Kern and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. If you are looking to gain insight and move forward in your life, I may be the right therapist for you! I have gained experience in the field over the past several years in the following areas: trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, substance abuse, and other life stressors. Most recently, I have obtained certification as a trauma specialist and have been trained in EMDR. My goal is to join you in exploring areas in which you feel stuck to help you heal in a holistic and meaningful way. My areas of speciality include trauma-focused therapy and client-centered therapy. I believe that therapy is not a “one size fits all” approach, but rather to join you exactly where you are in your journey toward wellness. I look forward to meeting you, building a safe space together, and working together so that you can show up as your best self.
