Emily Keef is an LCPC and CADC who has been practicing since 2016. She obtained her Master's of Science in Counseling from the University of Southern Maine, with a focus on substance use and abuse and adolescent psychology. Emily believes in a relational approach in therapy. She focuses on supporting clients with developing genuine connection and understanding of themselves, which translates to greater depth and healthy connections with others. She guides clients to identify and redevelope narratives and patterns, through approaches in motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and body awareness to empower the process of growth and change. Emily's main areas of focus in therapy are complex trauma, anxiety and substance abuse. Outside of clinical work, Emily enjoys hiking and exploring with her family, reading memoirs and finding ways to support her community.
