I have over 20 years of experience in helping people improve their life satisfaction. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Louisiana with a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. My therapy is geared to help patients gain adaptive interpersonal skills, improve coping skills, and develop stability in their lives. I have a passion for working with members of the LGBTQ community and helping people cultivate acceptance and pride in themselves and their community. I have utilized and studied several counseling theories and techniques over the years. My style could be described as eclectic since I use techniques from many different theories in my practice. Some of the therapeutic approaches I tend to utilize in therapy include: CBT, Narrative therapy, Strategic therapy, ACT, MRI , Structural therapy, and Mindfulness.
