About

My goal is to empower individuals to accept themselves, regardless of weight, size, gender identity, or other culturally defined standards of beauty. I teach my clients to practice intuitive eating skills by learning to be mindful of both their bodily needs and their emotional needs. Processing the underlying causes of disordered eating behaviors allows one to implement healthier coping mechanisms and more effective communication skills with which to express their thoughts, feelings, and needs in a safe and constructive manner.

As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Intuitive Eating Counselor, I am passionate about promoting body acceptance and improving self esteem by challenging the cultural and societal pressures to achieve unattainable standards of "ideal beauty" and by encouraging each of us to embrace and accept a wide range of body types and sizes.

I believe that our best selves are always our most authentic selves, and that self compassion and acceptance are some of the most powerful tools for achieving the full realization of one's potential.
