About

If you are struggling with health, personal or family issues, I’m sure the larger social context has made them even more complicated. I am inspired by the effort and trust folks bring to therapy. I try to match that with positive energy and clinical expertise. I work with clients with a range of presenting concerns. I am particularly drawn to: identity exploration & growth, grief & loss (all kinds), working with helpers (therapists, healthcare workers, educators..), addressing social challenges & relationships. I specialize in perinatal issues: high risk pregnancy, loss, infertility, traumatic delivery, postpartum mood changes.

I see clients as experts in their own lives. My role is to help recognize the patterns, unwritten rules, family and social constraints that contribute to harm, pain, or insufficient growth. Then together we challenge old stories and create newer, truer ones.

My style is relational, direct and enthusiastic. I believe humor highlights our humanity even in dire circumstances. I feel honored to be invited into the lives of my clients and excited about the healing that occurs within relationships. I enjoy working with clients from different backgrounds. Hablo Español y me encanta trabajar con la población latina.
