About

As an experienced clinician I understand that most clients want a therapist with compassion but also one that has the skills and expertise to assist you to overcome patterns of behavior and thinking that hold you back or make you feel stuck in life and drain you of energy. To achieve your goals we create an individualized approach that builds upon the strengths you already have and assist you to learn new ones. This is a collaborative process based on understanding your history and how it has shaped you. which provides a new path to pausing with your automatics so you have choice to pick a different path.

I have 30 plus years experience in individual and couples therapy with extensive training in mindfulness, attachment theory, neuroscience, IFS/parts theory and relational couples therapy. In sessions either with individuals or couples I assist you to develop ways to slow down reactive or defensive parts to create adaptive choices in the present.

I model acceptance, compassion and curiosity and foster this in between couples. Creating a place to move from the patterns of the past by honoring the story, wounds, and deeper feelings. This creates a reparative experience in which you feel validated both internally and relationally. I look forward to scheduling a phone call to learn more about you.
