About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. My outpatient experience supports those dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, career counseling, interpersonal conflict and complex family issues. Prior to my outpatient experience, I spent ten years in a residential setting treating individuals involved with juvenile probation, commercially sexually exploited children (CSEC) and CYF. Im addition, I hold also hold a certification to treat first responders, addressing their unique mental health pressures that come along with their professional stressors.

I use a trauma-informed approach while treating individuals who have experienced physical, sexual and emotional abuse and those who have witnessed violence in within their communities.

I believe that change is slow and steady. I think that realistic goal-setting is important. I am confident that I will be able to continue to help my clients utilize learned coping skills in order to make positive changes in their lives.
