About

I have 38 years of counseling experience and have a deep appreciation for the challenges associated with healing from emotional patterns that over time, are no longer useful. I respect the importance of setting clear boundaries to support a healthy therapeutic alliance. Confidentiality is the heart of a relationship built on trust.

I have a strong background in Family Systems Theory but with a Person-Centered, empathetic approach. I utilize evidence-based treatments to find meaning through the lens of self-compassion and acceptance. I am versed in treating a myriad of mental health issues including co-occurring and gender-affirming therapies. Ages 21 and up.

Counseling is a joint effort therefore personally empowering. Likewise, it is a deeply compassionate and empathetic journey which also makes it a uniquely individual experience. I value the courage it takes to reach out. Please call or email to set up a free 20-minute phone consultation.
