The journey through life's stages is exciting, though it is inevitably accompanied by some difficult challenges. Therapy can provide insight and support to make tough times more manageable. I specialize in providing therapy to children (ages 10 and up), adolescents, adults, and families. My expertise primarily lies in working with issues related to trauma, anxiety, low self esteem, and parenting. I provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy. In addition, I provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) services. I offer therapy in English and Spanish. I see traditional and non-traditional clients. I view therapy as a collaborative process. I approach therapy from a place of compassion, mindful presence, and curiosity. I believe that within us we all have great strengths, wisdom, and vulnerabilities, all of which can be valuable resources. I see my role as providing a nurturing, accepting, and safe environment within which I help individuals and families build upon their existing skills, find hope, gain insights about their choices, and work on resolving issues that might be getting in their way.
