I enjoy working with individuals, teens, and athletes. I like to work with people whom are willing to look at their entire life balance as part of their treatment plan in counseling. I believe in utilizing a holistic approach to create balance in one's life, which will help manage mental health symptoms they may be experiencing. I feel that if an individual is wanting to make sustainable changes and improve their mental health, it is important to look at the entire lifestyle and not just one area. I have a significant background in addictions and severe mental illness. The majority of my clients have had co-occuring disorders which have been the basis of their treatment. I have experience working with individuals, teens, families, couples, and groups. My approach is to integrate a healthy lifestyle and balance into the mental health and addictions counseling process. I have been in the field since 2008 and have found that general health is often overlooked in addictions and mental health treatment. I feel it is important to address these areas.
