Therapists » Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Are you approaching midlife or beyond? The second half of life brings a wide variety of challenges: menopause, relationship issues, divorce, grief, health challenges, sexuality, anxiety, and depression. You may be balancing taking care of others with prioritizing your own needs. Recognizing that time is limited, older adults may want to take stock of their achievements, plan for what they still hope to accomplish, and mourn what might never be. Facing our mortality may bring a fresh desire for peace with the past and finding meaning-making in the present. Elizabeth brings her personal lived experience in this life stage to the therapeutic relationship. Her approach is relational and collaborative using various evidence-based modalities such as: attachment theory, emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness, family systems theory, and spiritual listening practices. Elizabeth invites you to take a step toward discovering more about yourself and what you want, pursuing positive change during these second half of life years, and finding relief from distress. She is available for both in-person and virtual counseling sessions.
