About

I believe that therapy is a place to explore who we are and how we want to move forward with our lives. It is a space to look at what is holding us back and impeding our own personal growth. My approach is to work together with individuals to unearth current and past dysfunctions that are no longer working for them and to help navigate a new way for clients to see themselves and the world around them. I help clients examine their patterns of thought, feelings and behaviors and explore the impact of their past and current relationships on their present life.

I work with individuals and their families, and couples specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, eating disorders/disordered eating, relationship issues, and issues associated with life transitions. My goal is to collaborate with those seeking to cope and to heal and together build a new way forward toward a more meaningful life.

Using a strength-based, person-centered perspective while integrating mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral strategies as well as psychodynamic and other insight-oriented therapies, I seek to help clients work towards awareness, increase insight and ultimately begin to experience positive change.
