About

Making the decision to start therapy can be daunting, but I believe that the therapy process can help you gain a better understanding of your behaviors, relationships and sense of self. I also believe that therapy can help to ease the emotional pain and discomfort that life changes and transitions can stir up. I create a safe and caring environment where we will work together to identify and work through the obstacles you face so you can achieve your goals.

In my psychotherapy practice I work with individuals on a wide range of issues including anxiety and depression, family systems, life cycles, identity and self-esteem, substance abuse, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, LGBTQ and gender identity.

I am a NYS licensed clinical social worker having earned my degree from Fordham University in 2006. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers and an APA member of Division 39.
