I have 17+ years of experience in the field of Social Work, treating individuals with childhood trauma and abuse, grief and loss, combat trauma, sexual assault, and domestic violence. I have successfully helped individuals and families build a strong foundation for the long-term management of their mental health needs. I am also a CSAT, and I treat individuals with sex and/or love addiction as well as sexual anorexia. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the District of Columbia and Virginia. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Howard University, Washington, D.C. I am a certified EMDR therapist and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). I am also trained in Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Solution Focus Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am also an EMDR Consultant and offer supervision to clinicians seeking their EMDR certification.
