About

My clients come to therapy motivated by the desire for change and because of one or more of the following issues: anger, anxiety, depression, family of origin issues, grief and loss, relationship issues and trauma. The therapeutic progress provides the opportunity to reflect on one's life, to understand one's feelings, thoughts, behaviors and motivations, to realize new perspectives and to be listened to with respect and attention. Psychotherapy allows for the healing of wounds, reclaiming of dreams and living a life that is more authentic and meaningful.

For the past 33 years, I have worked with adults, individuals and couples, practicing psychotherapy within a Jungian framework. Three guiding Jungian principles are a profound respect for each individual's process, awareness is realized through reconciliation of the opposites, and an awareness of how powerfully the unconscious influences the psyche.

I blend traditional talk therapy with active imagination, anger therapy, gestalt therapy, voice dialogue and expressive arts.
