Are you tired of being stuck in the cycle of problematic behaviors that keep you feeling anxious, depressed or hopeless? Whether its using food, over exercise, substances, excessive sleep, explosive anger or some other perilous action to cope, there is help out there. It begins with understanding the function of these behaviors and then learning new tools to help you engage in your life in a way that is in line with your true values. When we build the capacity to cope with the challenges of our past, present and future in more effective ways, we create the space and capacity for joy, love and a sense of belonging. I use a combination of ACT, DBT and mindfulness based therapy in my sessions. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist helping those with Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder and overall disordered eating. Additionally, I have a great deal of experience working with anxiety and mood disorders, as well as trauma. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of all my work and my priority is always creating a nurturing space for clients to feel safe to process and explore their struggles. We rarely take the time in our busy schedules to just sit and self reflect on why we are the way we are, and I always feel honored to help facilitate the process.
