We have all had life experiences that have caused us to lose connection with our true self - the person we were born to be. These experiences include traumas, stressful life circumstances and dysfunctional childhood families of origin. What these experiences have in common is that they all cause us to cut off certain parts of our true self in order to adapt to the circumstances that we have had to endure. I enjoy helping people re-discover those lost parts of themself and break down the invisible walls that have been limiting their lives, so that they can become their genuine self - full of love, joy and peace. I specialize in intensive therapy modalities, including retreats, which allow for more rapid healing. This can save my clients both time and money - achieving the results they desire in a fraction of the time typically necessary with ongoing weekly therapy sessions. I utilize EMDR, mindfulness techniques, Internal Family Systems and somatic interventions. Although I typically specialize in intensive work that helps people heal from past experiences in order to thrive in their present lives, during this difficult time I recognize that many people are struggling to survive the present. As a result, I am also happy, through more traditional psychotherapy, to help people cope with the stressful times we are in.
