About

Are you grieving, feeling sad or depressed, anxious, have uncontrollable anger or feelings of low self-esteem? These and other forms of inner conflict can be overwhelming and debilitating. They can cause physical pain as well as fatigue, sleeplessness, eating disorders and a host of other symptoms and behaviors. Psychotherapy can address these issues and help you to lead a more peaceful and fulfilling life. Finding the right therapist is crucial and can be challenging. Location and insurance are practical concerns, but should not be the primary consideration. The rapport between you and your therapist is key to successful treatment.

Though a licensed psychoanalyst, you will not be speaking to a blank wall. My treatment philosophy is to address the underlying issues that cause the behavior rather than just the behavior itself. Therapy can be difficult but not as difficult as living with the painful feelings you are currently experiencing.

I have had great success working with the following issues: marital, parent-child, work and peer relationships, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, anger, sexual abuse, substance abuse, and impulsivity. You are on this sight because you're thinking you may need help. Call me and we can talk about it.
