About

I believe each individual is the expert on his or her life and experiences. As a therapist, it is my goal to tap into that and add my own skills, insights and techniques that have helped many others. Working together, we can find solutions to the problems or situations causing stress. I find that, for most of my clients, therapy is a short-term need. You can then use your new skills in similar situations that arise in the future. My goal is to have you leave therapy with a range of tools that work for you.

I specialize in working with trauma survivors, and haved developed a specific expertise with couples where one or both individuals have been impacted by trauma. I also work with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, and relationship issues.

The desire for change in life and relationships is an essential component to therapy. For many people, behaviors and thoughts that were adaptive in the past may no longer work. I can help you change negative beliefs and behaviors that are preventing you from living the life you want.
