About

We often don't talk about the impact of childhood trauma on ourselves and our families, which then deepens the challenges and struggles we experience in our daily lives. My passion lies in helping you understand the impact of trauma on your life and dissecting the patterns that have developed from it. Change is hard and it feels uncomfortable. That is where I come in to walk along your healing journey to help you address the source of the issue to build insights. Together, I can empower you to create the change you want to see in your life.

I am currently a clinical director of an outpatient program at a non-profit. I have been working in the community mental health field serving low-income individuals and families for over 15 years. I specialize in trauma treatment for minorities, especially sexual trauma. I use a trauma- and cultural-informed lens to look at the issue. I am trained in EMDR.

Life can get busy with different responsibilities and our own needs sometimes are put in the back burner. There will never be enough time in the day to get everything done but we can prioritize our own mental health needs. Give me a call to see how I can help you!
