I am a Clinical Social Worker who has provided counseling to individuals since 2011. My practice approach is to start where you are in your life. I will compassionately listen, help you gain insight and develop tools to cope with life's challenges. I love working with clients who are going through life transitions such as leaving home, going to college, accepting a new job, getting married or having a new baby. Life transitions are normal, but sometimes living life can become so overwhelming you need someone to talk to about it. My goal is to help you cope with these changes and to move forward. I use an eclectic approach to treatment. I use interventions that best suit your needs. I use a combination of evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT, DBT, solution-focused or mindfulness techniques. In our first session, we will start with brief introductions. We will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and discuss the goals you want to achieve. My experience includes helping clients cope with chronic or terminal illnesses. I have worked in academia, healthcare, mental health, and hospice fields. I have also provided care for Veterans. I want you to feel safe and comfortable to express yourself in an honest and transparent way. The virtual room is a no-judgement zone and I am ready to listen.
