As a person-centered, trauma-informed, and multicultural therapist, I strive to meet my clients where they are while also offering tangible strategies for growth, healing, and change. I specialize in the treatment of clinical concerns such as trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, relationship difficulties (e.g., romantic relationships and friendships, family dynamics), identity exploration, emotion regulation/dysregulation, substance use, disordered eating/body image concerns, and depression and anxiety. Clients have described me as warm, engaged, and nonjudgmental. I cherish the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life, and I have specialized training working with members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as people of color. As a queer Vietnamese American myself, I create a compassionate space where clients can share their most authentic selves. I blend dialectical behavioral, cognitive behavioral, and acceptance and commitment therapy with more insight-focused approaches. I also work as a college professor and use my research and teaching experience to augment the therapy I provide. I look forward to working with you and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
