Hi! I'm Dr. Winnie Ma (she/her/hers), a licensed psychologist in New York who is passionate about supporting immigrant and racial/ethnic minority youth and adults facing a range of issues – relationships, family, career, or identity. My own experience as an immigrant from Taiwan navigating interpersonal and systemic challenges taught me the importance of resilience, seeking support, and embracing diverse perspectives. My therapy approach is collaborative and strengths-focused. I specialize in addressing mental health concerns from a multicultural lens, incorporating both Western and non-Western frameworks. We will identify and challenge negative thought patterns, empowering you to embrace self-acceptance and create positive change. With over two decades of experience working with culturally diverse populations in various clinical and educational settings in New York and New Jersey, I bring my knowledge and cultural understanding to my practice. My particular expertise lies in supporting immigrants and Asian American youth and adults. I am a bilingual therapist (Mandarin and English).
