Ultreya means Onward in Spanish. This sentiment is perfect for a mental health counselor, because our goals are about helping clients progress onward in their lives and to not let the past dictate their present or future. My intention with my practice is to help clients navigate their lives in a way that they become more self-aware and happy with the individual that they are, rather than who they think they should be based on the world around them. I love working with individuals who have marginalized identities, specifically the LGBT+, BDSM/kink and polyamorous/ENM/swinger communities. I can address most mental health concerns from depression, anxiety, anger manage, sexuality, and others. I work with most age ranges. It is important to note that I predominantly provide telemental health.
