Overwhelmed, sad or worried? Are you going through a time in your life when you are experiencing a change? I work with adults and older adults particularly during times of transition (loss of a loved one, medical diagnosis, increased dependence, career stress, new home, relationship issues, parenting or caregiving needs). Each person and situation is unique. My goal is to provide relationally-oriented, evidence-based care to help with the transitions, loss and obstacles that are being faced. I work from a client-centered, collaborative approach allowing people to experience enhanced life satisfaction, meaning and purpose. As a psychologist who has worked for several years with individuals and families both in private homes and in older adult communities, I offer a unique perspective to build a positive therapeutic relationship and a safe space to work together to navigate life transitions or to improve your relationships, depression, anxiety, sadness or self-confidence. Life can be seen as a series of beginnings and endings. Therapy is a place where you can better understand these changes, explore options for a more fulfilling present and future, and get support as you contemplate change or adjust to a difficult reality. I bring patience, warmth, and a commitment to see life through your lens. I look forward to meeting you!
