I am a clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders and related issues. I focus on cognitive-behavioral therapy to address worry, stress, and anxiety. I have specialized training in evidence based treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder, body focused repetitive behaviors (trichotillomania - hair pulling - and skin picking/lip chewing), panic disorders, phobias, social anxiety and generalized worries. I work with older adolescents and adults. I am a member of PSYPACT, an interstate compact facilitating telepsychology. I am licensed in Nebraska, Texas and Florida. I completed the International Obsessive Compulsive Foundation Behavior Therapy Institute, TLC Foundation for Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors Professional Training Institute, UPenn anxiety treatment trainings, observership at Mayo Clinic intensive ERP OCD treatment program, specialized training in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), UPenn CBT-I training. It is important to partner with clients to determine the best course of treatment. Evidenced-based treatment strategies are backed by research but therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. I work with each client to find the most effective strategies to assist that individual in meeting their goals.
