I use the IFS model and a collaborative compassionate approach to help you identify and understand your inner system so you can connect with your core Self. Our sessions will also strongly focus on developing a trusting working relationship, with me but more importantly with yourself — helping you to minimize internal chaos and feel more balance and harmony. I am currently only accepting individual clients that are seeking to work in this modality or who are seeking treatment with EMDR. I am accepting couples who are interested in therapy. Areas I can help with include relationships, self improvement, anxiety and stress management. My specialty is Internal Family Systems, a non-pathologizing psychotherapy. It emphasizes the natural multiplicity of mind. The grounding assumption is that there are no bad parts, only parts forced into bad roles. As a client learns how to access Self, they can heal. I am certified in EMDR, level 3 trained in Internal Family Systems (currently becoming certified) and level 2 trained in the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT Institute). Additionally, my dissertation was on the topic of ayahuasca to treat depression and I am enrolled at Integrative Psychiatry Institute for Ketamine Assisted Therapy.
