Dr. Bamdad practices both Clinical Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy. She combines her holistic background of Eastern therapeutic traditions and incorporates them with evidence-based clinical approaches such as CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic and Object Relations theories. She is well versed in the field of Energy Psychology based modalities; particularly Deep Guided Meditation, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or Tapping), Somatic Awareness and is certified the Eastern Healing tradition of Reiki for over 10 years. Dr. Bamdad's passion is EMDR and Guided Meditation. Bespoke treatment is provided for those dealing with Trauma, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Substance Abuse Disorders and more, including sexual difficulties, identity issues (1st and 2nd generation identity within culture), grief/loss, career changes, life goals, relationship struggles, self-esteem, and more.
