Dr. Jenkins has experience working with individuals, couples, families, children and teens - ages 10 and up. She specializes in working with trauma informed care, inner child work, issues of racial and historical trauma, perinatal mental health, military children and families, relationship conflict and self-esteem and self-care based issues. Dr. Jenkins works with a variety of populations, and works to create a safe space for all! Dr. Jenkins’s goal for therapy is to work with the client to become equipped with the ideal tools that are needed to navigate through life. When working with clients, she utilizes Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Narrative Therapy approaches. Dr. Jenkins is also EMDR, TF-CBT, TBRI and MST trained. Dr. Jenkins believes that every client has the inner-strength and skill set to persevere through obstacles. Everyone has a story, and has the ability to change the outcome of their stories. She aims to help clients of all ages to embark on their journey of healing and improvement, in hopes of the client reaching their maximum change.
