No matter the presenting concern, building a trusting relationship between client and therapist is paramount for successful treatment. First and foremost, I focus on establishing a supportive, non-hierarchical relationship with each client. I believe clients get the most out of therapy by gaining a sense of agency over their experience, both in and out of treatment. Goals are established based on the client's needs, wants, and unique characteristics. I hope that clients will feel empowered by our work together. I have experience treating adolescents, emerging/young adults, and adults with a myriad of presenting concerns, including depression, anxiety, and trauma, especially sexual violence. Other particular interests of mine include working with college students, perfectionism, reproductive trauma, postpartum mood disturbances, and rural mental health. Making the decision to begin therapy can be incredibly difficult. I hope to create a safe and welcoming space so that you are able to be your most authentic self. I am excited to take this journey with you.
