About

Many of us reach a point when we need help and support in order to change old patterns or work through difficult issues. My goal as a therapist is to help adolescents, adults, and couples gain a deeper understanding of their feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and relationship patterns so they are better able to live more satisfying and deliberate lives. I help clients do this by working with them to connect the things that have shaped them, such as their family and social relationships, the way they think about themselves and others, as well as their attachment and trauma experiences, to their current issues and life situations. I specialize in working with adults with Complex Trauma and PTSD, OCD and other anxiety disorders, depression, and eating and body image issues. I also specialize in working with college student issues, including: family of origin, academic, time management and procrastination issues, and ADHD. In addition, I have extensive experience working with couples.

I received excellent clinical training at the University of Michigan Counseling and Psychological Services working with undergraduate and graduate students, as well as the Mary A. Rackham Institute, an Ann Arbor community clinic, where I worked with adults age 18-68. If you feel my experience and approach would benefit you, please contact me.
