I use evidence-based treatment approaches for adults struggling with chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and related issues, with a particular focus on women's gynecologic pain. My practice focuses on using cutting edge therapeutic approaches that provide demonstrable results in a relatively short time frame. My approach fosters a collaborative therapeutic relationship, where we work together to reduce fear of pain and physical sensations and modify behaviors to achieve your specified treatment goals. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapies for pain and have advanced certification in Pain Reprocessing Therapy and have extensive experience using Emotion Awareness and Expression Therapy. I also have trained and developed cognitive-behavioral therapies for anxiety and depression, including traditional CBT and acceptance-baed approaches. Following your initial assessment and review of treatment goals, we will determine the treatment approach that will most effectively address your concerns. Although the most intensive course of treatment is short-term, I often work with clients on maintenance of gains or additional issues after the initial treatment is complete.
