Life can be challenging. Sometimes it can even be hard to know what it's like to feel safe or content. Learning how to feel safe enough to truly enjoy life, people, relationships, one's own body, and one's own internal world is what therapy is about. It's from that place of inner safety that we can feel healthy, joyful and bring forth the best parts of ourselves. Are you interested in a cutting edge healing process? To succeed in accessing healing capacities, and to resolve trauma I practice a few different forms of somatic therapy: NeuroAffective Touch, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, and EMDR. Humans have inborn healing capacities that can be accessed through experiences confirming our worth, and by having our needs lovingly met. These needs are meant to be met through tender loving care early in life: a time when we explore the world with our bodies - not our minds. Somatic therapies can help access early roots of human experience for healing. If you could use confirmation of your worth and respect for your innate needs, somatic therapy may be for you. It offers an opportunity to develop a feeling of safety inside yourself, to sense your place in the world, to develop mastery in calming yourself.
