Trauma, experienced as a single incident or several prolonged traumatic events over time, can result in a range of psychological symptoms and have effects even long after the exposure to the trauma. I believe that every person deserves a safe and affirming space to tell their unique stories of struggle, pain, and hope. Together, we can acknowledge, sit with, process, embrace, and grieve to find the freedom and healing you’re looking for. I provide individual therapy and couples counseling, and I also provide psychological testing and evaluation to provide unique insights and recommendations for treatment and diagnosis. My work with clients is collaborative and integrative, informed by trauma and with a focus on the relationship we create together. As safety and trust increases in the therapy relationship, we will draw upon your strengths to achieve the healing and growth that you seek. Goals of therapy would be to find relief from symptoms and to cultivate self-compassion. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings (school, community mental health, forensic, college, hospital and healthcare) and across the range of presenting issues. I previously trained at Santa Clara County Health & Hospital System, Miami University, and Kaiser Permanente Fremont Adult & Child Psychiatry.
