So much of life is spent facing challenges that we do not feel equipped to overcome on our own – whether it is understanding how to navigate our emotions, striving to reach our potential, or finding the right words to communicate with loved ones. It is my belief that, with the right support and tools, people are capable of improving how they show up in their lives. I truly believe that we can all do hard things and often times surprise ourselves with what we are capable of! We have more strengths than we give ourselves credit for and sometimes we simply need guidance, direction, and a supportive environment to find our true selves. My approach to the therapeutic process prioritizes the client-therapist relationship – we are a team – and draws up two areas of mental wellness: (1) sport psychology of elite performance to help you develop a vision, set goals, actualize potential, and live with intention, and (2) physiological approaches such as physical activity, exercise, and health. With my hybrid approach to mental wellness, it would be my privilege to help you explore areas of your life where you feel you are in need of guidance, support you in your pursuit of improving mental wellness, and work together to face life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.
