About

I'm honored to work with those recovering from acute and complex trauma as well as stigma and discrimination associated with sexual, gender, and racial and neurodiversity. Such experiences often lead to PTSD, depression, anxiety, emotion dysregulation, substance misuse, and difficulties in relationships. Through individualized case-formulation, my approach assists clients in addressing the psychological and social mechanisms underpinning their distress. I work with clients from all walks of life, helping them to navigate their unique challenges and experience greater meaning, fulfillment, and community in these challenging times.

For 9 years, I was a faculty member and clinic director for a PhD Program in Clinical Psychology. I'm a certified provider of Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD with expertise in individualized treatment for complex clinical issues. I emphasize a client-centered, conversational approach that integrates cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic theories.

Please know that you are not alone. My foremost goal is for clients to feel safe in saying or being anything, without fear of judgment. No matter your past or present challenges, a more meaningful life is always possible.
