As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Ramsey specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults who are facing traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression. Dr. Ramsey also partners with children and families who are navigating chronic physical health conditions such as POTS, IBD, and type 1 diabetes. She introduces developmentally appropriate skills intended to improve short-term coping and promote long-term resilience. She often works closely with patients’ caregivers to bolster their efforts to provide effective and validating support.

Dr. Ramsey employs evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She embraces a warm and authentic approach to collaboratively develop insight into the connections between one’s experiences, thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and overall wellness.
