My approach is comprehensive and integrates the tools offered by my clinical training in psychology, Jungian dream analysis as well as my knowledge of spiritual disciplines.Experience has taught me that each of us possess an inner intelligence that supports our efforts toward living a meaningful and productive life. As a therapist, I consider it my role to evoke and nurture this positive resource.I have found that my emphasis on supporting what is right in us produces better results than a narrow focus on what is wrong.I have learned to listen to the whole person. In four decades of clinical practice, I have successfully treated individuals whose backgrounds range from business to the arts. My approach is eclectic. Adapted to suit the needs of each individual, these methods have enabled clients to function successfully, more creatively, and to deepen the understanding of their behavior in relationships and in work I have been personally trained in Jungian Dream Analysis by Dr. Renee Nell, a pupil of C.G. Jung.I'm also well versed in a variety of psychodynamic approaches. In addition, I have served as director of Drug Training for the State of Connecticut. I am also experienced in psychodynamic and psychodiagnostic testing.
