About

You want to not just feel better, but to GET better...and in a way that makes sense, addresses what is important to you, and is effective and empowering. Good therapy is not a temporary Band-Aid, but will help you develop knowledge and skills that last a lifetime. Real change involves a better sense of self-worth, understanding yourself and others, more tools in managing and expressing emotions, and more effective communication skills in relationships. We will clarify your main concerns and goals, identify the barriers to change, and then use your strengths and new tools to find solutions that fit your personality and lifestyle.

My training is in clinical and health psychology. I pay particular attention to the connection between emotional and physical health and emphasize personal empowerment. Common concerns I help with are stress, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, relationship problems, and issues about identity and purpose in life. To learn more, please check out my website.

Together we'll clarify your goals for therapy, significantly increasing the chance that you'll get where you want to go without wasting time. I practice feedback-informed treatment (regularly track therapeutic progress and your satisfaction with therapy) to maximize session satisfaction. Schedule a free 15 minute call or video to see if we are a good fit.
