I'm an integrative psychotherapist working with individuals and couples. My approach is warm and interactive, providing a supportive environment where you can reflect and develop new ways of handling the life challenges you are facing. The focus of my practice is twofold: relationship issues and life transitions (for example: changes in relationships, career changes, relocation, pregnancy, child birth and parenting, facing illness, trauma and loss, as well as seeking more meaning and deeper fulfillment in life). I have extensive experience working with people who immigrated to the US or are of diverse cultural backgrounds. Combining psychotherapy, neuroscience and Eastern wisdom traditions, I can help you create balance, insight and well-being. I draw from 20+ years of mindfulness background as well extensive training in traditional and cutting-edge psychotherapy (e.g. Jungian Depth Psychology, Gestalt, Sensorimotor, Hakomi, Family Constellations, EFT, Biofeedback, CBT, EMDR). Besides psychotherapy, I offer executive coaching and am a Professor of East West Psychology at CIIS, where I teach courses in depth psychology and counseling skills. I previously taught at UCSF School of Medicine and founded and directed a program for Mindfulness and Resiliency for physicians, nurses and other caregivers at UCSF Children's Hospital.
