I specialize in working with and teaching about LGBTQIA+, queer, transgender, and gender-diverse adults, those with ADHD or Autism, body liberation, unlearning diet culture, and HAES, and former members of high control religions/groups/cults, religious trauma. My approach is rooted in Feminist therapy, social justice, and third-wave behavioral approaches. I offer virtual individual therapy, ADHD/Autism assessments, and gender affirming letters in 42 states as part of PSYPACT. This includes: AL, AZ, AR, CO, CT, DE, DC, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NC, MP, OH, OK, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY. Over the years I’ve found that many of the organizations I was part of were inadequately supporting individuals who are queer, trans, disabled, plus-size/larger-bodied/fat, or hold other “non-traditional” or marginalized identities. As a result, I decided I wanted to focus my clinical care on filling the gaps I saw in the mental health field. As a clinical psychologist, I aim to minimize my role as a gatekeeper in the lives of my clients. This means I trust and value your own understanding of who you are and what you want to do. Together, therapy can be a place to rest, reflect, and just be yourself. If you’re trying to figure out who you are, therapy can help with that, I’m here to help.
