With more than two decades of experience, I have worked in various settings, including clinical, medical, and academic milieus, and with a diverse clientele in urban and rural areas. I have extensive expertise in treating those who face a range of challenges, including anxiety, stress, sadness and depressed mood, grief, family and life transitions, relationship difficulties, trauma, adoption, attachment-related concerns, OCD, chronic illness, and interpersonal struggles. Additionally, I work with clients seeking to deepen self-awareness, heal unresolved areas, and expand their capacity for meaningful connection and fulfillment. My approach is guided by each client's unique needs and goals for therapy. Additionally, my therapeutic lens and style are largely informed by my background in psychodynamic psychotherapy, promoting insight, growth, and adaptability. I also draw from cognitive behavioral and trauma-focused interventions, lifestyle medicine, and other modalities. I believe the therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist is central to promoting healing, growth, and a path toward optimal wellness. My work is collaborative with the client and strives to enhance cognitive and emotional flexibility, adaptive functioning, and fulfillment by deepening self-awareness and skills.
