I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of clinical experience. I am on staff at SpringSource Psychological Center and have immediate availability for new clients. I specialize in the treatment of mood, anxiety, personality and trauma-related disorders in adults, young adults, and families and have worked for many years in higher levels of care settings. I most recently served as a Clinical Director for Pathlight’s Mood and Anxiety Center in Chicago and have experience teaching and training clinicians and students. I value the power of the therapeutic relationship to move clients towards sustained recovery. I take a trauma-informed perspective and have specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Written Exposure Therapy (WET), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I enjoy presenting at national conferences on my work with DBT, trauma and mindfulness. I enjoy working with clients to do the deeper, internal work of enhancing self-reflection and insight, and helping them overcome barriers to living a full and satisfying life. I have a compassionate and calm style, sense of humor, and ability to effectively handle difficult and emotional moments that can arise in therapeutic settings.
